🔐 Stay Alert: Protect Yourself from Spam & Phishing Emails 🔐
Our IT Department want to remind everyone to stay cautious when it comes to emails and messages asking for personal information.
Phishing scams are becoming more common and can look very real, often appearing to come from trusted companies.
🚫 Common warning signs:
• Requests for passwords or personal information
• Urgent or threatening language (“act now” or “account will be locked”)
• Suspicious links or attachments
• Email addresses that don’t quite match the company name
👉 How to protect yourself:
• Never click unknown links or download attachments from suspicious emails
• Do not provide personal or account information through email or text
• Verify directly with the company using a trusted phone number or website
• When in doubt - do not click
🔒 Remember: Legitimate companies will not ask for sensitive information like passwords through email.
If something feels off, trust your instincts, It’s always better to double check.
