Happy National Cookie Day — the perfect excuse to talk about the other kind too

Today is National Cookie Day, which means people are celebrating the chocolate-chip, freshly-baked, “just one more” kind.
But it’s also a good moment to think about the digital cookies sitting quietly in your browser.

Most of them are harmless and even helpful.
Some remember your preferences.
Some keep your sessions running smoothly.
And a few… collect a little more than you might expect.

So while you enjoy the real thing, it doesn’t hurt to check which digital cookies you’ve agreed to along the way. A small review of your settings goes a long way in keeping your browsing clean and your data protected.

🦃 Our Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe (The Right-Hand Version)

Today isn’t about dashboards, alerts, or KPIs.

(Although we remain vigilant, it comes with the job)

Today’s about cooking, laughing, and enjoying the people around us. So here’s the recipe we’re following:

🦃 Ingredients
* 1 big turkey
* A bit of family chaos (this is the sauce you can't go without)
* Unlimited gratitude
* A pinch of patience
* A timer you *definitely* won’t hear over everyone talking
* Zero meetings, zero emails, zero "quick questions."

🦃 Instructions
1. Preheat your oven and your mood: warm, relaxed, grateful.
2. Season generously with love, jokes, and at least one relative giving live food reviews.
3. Set aside any work thoughts while being aware — if it's not urgent, they can marinate until tomorrow.
4. Check on the turkey every so often… mostly to escape small talk.
5. Serve with people who make you feel at home.

Our Thanksgiving checklist for tomorrow

It's that time of the year. Tomorrow it'll be all about gratitude, and we have a lot to be thankful for this year.

But, in the spirit of supporting you and your human risk efforts, we created a "what Right-Hand and our customers are thankful for" list, in Thanksgiving-day style.

🦃 We're thankful when people follow the recipe.
There's no freestyling when making the perfect dinner, neither when employees use their learning to make the organization safer.

🦃 We’re thankful for guests who don’t bring surprises.
No unexpected side dishes and no unexpected attachments and requests will bring us down.

🦃 We’re thankful for not having awkward conversations.
No touchy subjects during dinner and no weird calls from a person that sounds like your CFO.

🦃 We’re thankful for having fun with the people we care for.
Just like Thanksgiving is not a time for conflict, security awareness is about being positive, wholesome, and thankful. Appreciating employees for their effort is as delightful as appreciating having the people you love by your side.
