How many of you have a USB backup drive, but aren't using Windows 10 File History backup feature?

Pretty easy to setup, and it copies real files, and not catalog files to keep your system regularly backed up when you want to auto-run it. Easy to configure, and it will save you from going crazy when your main hard drive fails, and you lose all your data.

Don't forget to back it up!

Much before the rollout of Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft introduced a new privacy setup experience to help users choose the settings they want. Before you go ahead with the Windows 10 Creators Update, which comes with build version 1703, you will be prompted to choose the privacy settings.

There has been some issues in the past week with DNS lookup delays. DNS (Direct Name Service) routes your internet searches and sends you to the correct address from the results.

If you are having delays, you can speed it up, by changing the DNS lookup servers to GOOGLE. Very easy to do.

Control Panel
Network Settings
Click on network adapter (wired or wireless)

Under IPV4 settings, click and selected properties

Change the lower section DNS to:

8.8.8.8 PRIMARY
8.8.4.4 SECONDARY

I just changed mine, and it sped up searches and removed the delay.
