You've probably already heard that CCleaner was compromised by malware: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/ccleaner-compromised-to-distribute-malware-for-almost-a-month/
If you had a version of CCleaner that was affected, they likely already auto-updated it in order to remove the vulnerability. However, this attack does not make us confident in CCleaner's (Avast's) security infrastructure, so we've chosen to stop supporting it
If you're using Avast, we recommend making a change (at least for now).
