FOCUS is a person-centered, collaborative and secure, cloud based electronic record for providers of IDD Medicaid waiver services. It is accessed via internet web browser on desktops, laptops and tablets. Designed in 2012 in collaboration with providers in Kentucky, the first version went live in June 2013. Role-based access and security. FOCUS grew from Integrity IT, a full service IT company based in Lexington, KY since 2000. The FOCUS Development Team completed several projects for the State of KY and worked with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services in the Past (http://www.chfs.ky.gov/os/oig/kares) along with recent interface/ software development for the US Coast Guard and Dept of Homeland Security. Integrity IT played a major role in the implementation and support of Hospital (Baptist Health), Clinic (Baptist Express Care) and Physician Practice EHR systems and is well versed in the Affordable Care Act, meaningful Use and HIPAA. One goal for FOCUS is to interface into MWMA, and other electronic systems to create a collaborative and efficient workflow between agencies.
