Mini Retreat Moments Reel 📽️

There's something magical about getting the entire team into one room for a day away from the office. New perspectives. Strengthened friendships. More collaboration, motivation, and alignment. And of course, some great local Lexington food.

Our annual summertime Mini Team Retreat is a core practice at APAX that helps us catalyze each other and our organization forward to end the year strong. We hear from leaders about the state of the company, listen to teachings from teammates about how we can up-skill ourselves and upgrade our workflows, and gather around tables for cuisine and conversation.

This year was insightful, restful, and refreshing. What's a core practice your team has implemented that helps align, motivate, and collaborate?

One of our favorite days of the year! 🌮

Yesterday, we hosted a special edition of APAX Family Lunch with our coworking friends and neighbors at Awesome Inc. Fresh tacos, drinks, and friendships filled the startup garage and summertime air.

We could deliver a hundred perfect software projects, but if we don't focus on the people first, none of the success would matter.

Our 4 Core Values educate activities like Family Lunch: Be Good, Be Excellent, Be a Friend, Be You. Tacos go especially well in facilitating CV #3.

3 Years with Rolando!

Surfing into year 3, Rolando has continued to be a steady, kind, and excellent member of the APAX team. Over the last year, Rolando has helped us get projects for PC(USA) and UK Athletics across the finish line. Plus, he's currently working on a PhD in A.I. Computer Vision. Pretty soon, we'll have another Doctor on the team!
