Some of the best moments at Quick Connect aren’t big repairs — they’re the small ones. Earlier this week, Mr. Bohdi walked into our Lincoln location needing just a couple of screws to secure his NVMe. No appointment, no job ticket — just someone who needed a hand. We were happy to help, no charge, no hassle.

Tired of updates breaking your computer? Have an older computer that can’t be upgraded to newer software versions?

Linux is an alternative to Windows and MacIntosh. It runs on almost any computer, and there’s no charge for the software.

What’s the catch? Only Linux software runs on the Linux operating system. If you want QuickBooks or Quicken, Linux won’t run those. There are other programs with similar functionality, but you can’t run Microsoft Windows versions — you must use Linux versions.

It’s even possible to run Linux from an external drive, leaving your original files untouched while still allowing access if needed.

True story from the office — the shredder had been refusing to turn off in AUTO mode for weeks.
After cleaning the path and even trying a Q‑tip on the sensor, still no luck.
With a little free time yesterday, the unit was taken apart, blown out, and the IR sensors cleaned manually.
Put it back together — and it works!

We love that feeling when something finally gets fixed.
