We had a great time in Kearney last week at the Nebraska Assessors Workshop!

It’s always a highlight for our team getting together with assessors from across the state—sharing ideas, learning from each other, catching up with old friends, and having a little fun along the way. 🎤🕺💡

👊MIPS Motivation Monday💪

On this crisp, cool, morning we’re reminded that one season is almost gone, and a new one is about to fall 🍃🍂🍁. On one hand, the changing seasons in Nebraska are spectacular 🤩. On the other hand, where did the summer go!? 🫠

Time is fleeting. Let’s use this for Monday’s motivation! If we seize this morning, we seize the day. If we seize the day, we seize the week. And if we get the most out of the weeks, we OWN the seasons.

Tackle the dreaded “thing” this morning. Get it out of the way. Then, we hope you find the necessary “oompf” to get through the afternoon. 💪

As we know, the best gift we can give our colleagues, customers, family, and friends—-is to be at our personal best. And that feels good!

Sometimes the best part of the job isn’t the work—it’s the people! 🥰

We spent today meeting (and popping in on) counties along the southern border, and it was great seeing so many friendly faces along the way. 😊😀😉

The relationships we have with county officials and staff across Nebraska are what make this work purposeful and meaningful. 🤝

Today’s trusted tip: Never underestimate the value of showing up, sitting down together, and staying connected! Relationships always outlast changing times.

Our work in the beautiful town of Alliance is COMPLETE! 🙌 ✅. After adding mobile homes to the list, the total properties photographed was 3,479. Our step counters added up to just under 200 miles for the week! 🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️😰😅🌤️

These updated photos are essential for the assessor’s 6 year inspection requirement under Nebraska state law, and will be of great help to ensure homes are valued fair and equitably! ⚖️

Big shout outs📢📣to the Box Butte County Assessor’s office, and the community of Alliance! We chatted with several kind folks in the community! ☺️

Now, on to the next project! Friend, Nebraska will have to live up to its name to compete with the welcoming community of Alliance! 😎🙌❤️

This team is absolutely ROCKING a review in Alliance this week! 🙌 Beautiful weather 🌤️, awesome tech 📲🤳🛰️, and even better crew!

Each parcel gets 2-3 front photos, 1 back, and each outbuilding. The town has 3,174 res parcels in total, and this team is over half done by noon Wednesday and will be home by Friday night! 😴💤

Shout out to Alice for her realtime review, and Jessica and Evan for the software! All photos and notes to be imported into the county’s CAMA system next week! 👊

Donut delivery to Dorchester! 🍩 This amazing team finished inspecting, reviewing, and photographing the town in a week and a half.

This same team did ALL of Western Nebraska in 2 WEEKS!! 🤪🙌🎉
