Why I Started Pairs: Miles Christensen
I got married at 24, the summer after I graduated from college. After we got back from our honeymoon we moved into our new place and I started working full time.
Starting "real life" was hard. I moved away from friends who were still in college, and friends I graduated with left to new cities to start their own careers.
It wasn't long after I got home from my honeymoon that I wanted to make new friends with couples in my area. But how? Without new semesters and new classes how was I supposed to meet people? And now that I was married, it seemed even harder..
That is when the idea for Pairs was born. An app for couples, designed to help people like me make new friends with other couples. I partnered with my friend Cameron Lund, and he got to work building the app.
My dream is that Pairs helps couples everywhere find more from life by creating more friendships. Follow us now to hear when the app launches!
