Multi-company acquisitions without an IT department? That’s where things get spicy.

Brandless (a wellness parent company with multiple brands) came to Alakazam mid-acquisition and mid-management shift—already tipping into a full IT crisis. They fail because the tech stack underneath is a mess.

When Sutera became part of the Brandless platform, their IT was (in their words) “a huge mess” — including 17 different internal tools costing thousands each month.
