This Women’s History Month, My Serenity-Sanctuary: a non-profit dedicated to empowering women and girls through wellness and self-care, has been celebrating the women who carried the world on their shoulders and still managed to change it.🌸

We celebrate Civil Rights Activist Dovey Johnson Roundtree. We shone a spotlight on professor and activist Josephine Silone Yates. We honored the iconic voice of American jazz, Billie Holiday. This week, we close out our series for this month with the most remarkable woman of them all: Harriet Tubman! A freedom fighter who bore unimaginable pain and used every ounce of it to lead others to liberty.

So, I just completed my UX/UI Design Certificate capstone! ☺️

I designed Flightly, a flight booking app for budget-conscious travelers tired of juggling multiple websites to find a good deal.

Over the course of this project, I:
✈️: Conducted user interviews to uncover real pain points
🌍: Developed a site map, wireframes, and low-fi prototypes
📱: Designed high-fidelity mockups in Figma
📝: Ran usability tests and iterated based on feedback

And what was the biggest takeaway? Good design is not just about the looks; it is about solving real problems for real people!🫶
