Bedford Camera & Video is proud to support the Arkansas Outdoor Photography Club (AOPC) and the talented photographers in our local community.

The winning images from AOPC’s quarterly photo contest are now on display at Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee in Little Rock! Bedford Camera & Video was happy to provide the large canvas prints for the exhibit, and when the display comes down, each winning photographer will get to take their canvas home.

We love seeing local photographers share their creativity, and we’re excited to partner with AOPC and Guillermo’s to give these talented artists a place to showcase their work.

Next time you grab a coffee at Guillermo’s, take a few minutes to check out the AOPC gallery!

Congratulations to all of the contest winners—and to everyone who entered and put their work out there.

Great coffee. Great photography. Great local community.

What photographer is famous for the landscape photograph “Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico”?

09/25/2026

We all love our camera phones.
I have one. You have one. Even some of the most accomplished professional photographers carry one and use it every day.

And why wouldn’t we? Today’s phones take amazing pictures. They’re always with us, they’re easy to use, and they’re perfect for capturing the everyday moments of life.

But if taking pictures is something you really enjoy, there comes a point when you may want to do more than simply capture the moment — you want to create the photograph.
That’s where a mirrorless camera can take your love of photography to the next level.

Phones take amazing pictures. So why own a camera?
Because when the moment really matters, having the right tools gives you more possibilities.

A mirrorless camera gives you capabilities that allow you to photograph people, places and memories in ways that simply aren't possible with a phone alone.
• Beautiful background blur — naturally created through the lens
• Better low-light performance — more detail with less noise
• Freeze the action — sports, kids, pets and wildlife
• Get closer — real telephoto lenses instead of relying on digital zoom
• More creative control — you decide how you want the photograph to look
• Beautiful large prints — with the detail and quality you'll appreciate for years

Change lenses as your interests grow — portraits, sports, wildlife, travel, macro and so much more

Your phone is an incredible tool for capturing everyday life. A mirrorless camera doesn't have to replace it. It complements it.
It's another tool for those times when you want more control, more creativity and the best image quality you can achieve.

Because some photographs aren't just pictures.
They're memories.

Curious about making the move from phone photography to a mirrorless camera? Stop by Bedford Camera & Video. We'll let you get one in your hands, answer your questions and show you just how easy today's cameras can be.
Keep Making Memories!

If you change your shutter speed from 1/125 sec to 1/500 sec, how many stops less light reaches the sensor?

09/15/2026

What does the “f” in f/2.8 stand for?

09/11/2026

25 years.
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.
We will never forget.
