Primary Responsibilities

• Performing quality control on designed proofs.
• Send proofs to customers and follow up.
• Provide support as needed: emailing vendors and suppliers to obtain information about products and supplies
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
• Assisting the production department with tasks such as vinyl application on banners, binding, laminating, packaging, spiral-bind documents, etc.
• Taking simple work orders and providing appropriate marketing guides.
• Manages T-shirt inventory.
• Managing garment work order fulfillment.
• Responsible for work order progress.
• Report inconsistencies, such as:
o Time overage on new designs either by graphic design or requested by the customer.
o Excess of proofs requested by the customer.
o Multiple send-backs to graphic design with the same changes.

Secondary Responsibilities

• When there’s downtime and all primary activities have been accomplished the CSR-Lead or Manager may request your support to other duties.
• Greeting all clients in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• To be trained on: performing office services
o Making copies (B&W and Color), enlargements, and reductions
o Sending and receiving faxes
o Laminating documents
o Sending and receiving emails with attached files for walk-in clients
o Basic printing service from flash drives, emails, etc.
• Helping customers by providing information; answering basic product related questions; suggesting products or services
• Manage Checkkit by constantly monitoring messages throughout the day.
• Taking basic product orders on QuickBooks
o Taking the right notes and suggesting layout and content
o Making sure each detail and/or box has been properly filled, including all the details of the product design
o Completing payment transactions.
• If the customer’s product/project falls under the complex category, gather the customer’s info:
o Name & Last Name, Business Name (If applies) Ph. #, Email & address
o How did they hear about Imprenta Printing?
o Type of Business (i.e. Restaurant, mechanic shop)
o Product interest (Menus, forms, sign, etc)
o Once all the required information has been gathered present it to the appropriate person (CSR-Lead or Manager)
• Answer and screen business phone calls to determine the appropriate person to transfer the call to who will best help our customer.
• Listen to answering machine voicemails every morning, and determine the appropriate person to give message to.
• Promoting sales by demonstrating and advising marketing merchandise and products depending on the customer’s interest or business type.
• Maintaining lobby and showroom area clean and presentable, including glass showcase.

General Description:
This position requires a highly motivated person in the designing field. There must be a flexibility to work 40 hours a week and the desire to strike for satisfactory performance. You will also be responsible for designing products according to the client’s needs and instructions, and Imprenta’s expectations.
Typical Work Activities
• Designing of various products
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
• Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
• Strong computer skills
• Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout
• Select the size and arrangement of the different elements
• Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs
• Employ color, type, illustration, photography, and various print and layout techniques when designing project
• Design logos for products and businesses.
• Design projects that include but are not limited to business cards, menus, signs, banners, flyers and forms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing jobs and ensure the layout and design is done as requested by client
• Responsible for ensuring jobs are out in a timely manner
• Responsible using the correct templates
• Responsible for correct grammar on jobs
• Responsible for making sure images and other files are in the correct resolution to print to Imprenta Printing standards.
• Responsible for maintaining area clean and organized
• Responsible for keeping with and correctly organize file that belong in the server

• Continue expanding on your designing knowledge
• Continue the contribution on the Design Manual with new notes authorized by art director
