What does it look like, opening up a PS5 and replacing the liquid metal? This is what it looks like. Sony utilized liquid metal for cooling their apu, as it works 7x to 10x better then thermal paste. Eventually the liquid metal will oxidize and create some dry spots. This can cause the PS5 to overheat and shut off 20 to 60 minutes into a game or if youre playing a graphically demanding game. I also went ahead and cleaned out all vents, dust, grime, etc. If your PS5 is having issues, reach out to me! A new PS5, even a slim is $750, pros are almost $900. Let's get your PS5 fixed!
