It is with heavy heart that I announce the passing of Anthony Trassare Jr., owner of The Coloring Book. Tony was well known in Lodi for his community service through the Kiwanis organization and his time working with the Lodi Chamber of Commerce, even serving a term as their president. He opened The Coloring Book 35 years ago after “retiring” from his first career in transportation management. Those who knew Tony speak of his quick wit, his mischievous smile, and his knowledge of computers. Indeed, computers caught his fancy with the first push into the home market and became the backbone of his business.
While over the years many members of the family have worked with Tony, at this time, none of the family members desire to continue running the business. So, we will sadly be closing The Coloring Book at the end of August. Additionally, we will be closed Monday August 19 and Tuesday August 20 to handle family matters. We will reopen on Wednesday August 21. We thank you for the many years of patronage and will fondly remember our time serving the Lodi Community.
