- I love learning about my clients’ passions and helping them strategize and create the best way(s) for them to share their passion, services and offerings with their target customers in the social media marketplace.
- I love the comparative research, and drilling down to identify a specific target market so we can talk exactly to the person my client can help.

“So Rachel, why did you go into digital marketing? And p.s. what does that mean exactly???”

People often ask me why I started a digital marketing agency - especially if they know my background of working in higher education for over a decade… they wonder if this makes me happy, since my passion has been leadership, community engagement, service, education, helping people reach goals… The answer is a resounding YES! I started this business precisely because digital marketing includes all of the above! It’s the classic case of “next-right-thing.” For 8 years I’ve been marketing my own business - which provided a way for me to work from home and spend more time with my kids - and 2 years ago I transitioned to digital marketing for a nonprofit, which I loved - especially because it is right up my higher ed alley! ( - check them out! They do great work!) Well, the next right thing for the nonprofit was to get certified in social media advertising- to pull back the Wizard of Oz curtain on social media marketing and all the “flashy objects” - $500 for this method, $2k for this system, $4k for this strategy… I put the time, money and energy into cutting through the crap so I could serve not just one organization better, but multiple. I realized that this is what fires me up. This is how I help amazing organizations and “solopreneurs” stop wasting time, energy and money on all of the social media noise out there. But with my experience and training I help them serve their market and grow their businesses through the power of social media advertising. It makes me so happy just writing this! I truly love what I do and I love the positive impact this has on the organizations and individuals I work with!

Why are we named Break Point Digital Marketing? Because we help businesses make the changes needed to reach more clients and accelerate their business growth in the online space. Also, it's a play on point break 🌊 because we were founded in Long Beach, Washington. 🎉
