When you're thinking that you're saving a file but it doesn't really save. If you click open on an attachment in Outlook and it opens up in the web viewer from Edge it's not really being saved. It goes into the temporary file storage area. Just a note if you want to save attachments that are links that may not be there later, make sure that you download the file rather than open.

Can't Drag and Drop from Microsoft Edge This Morning? You are not alone. The minions at Microsoft decided you didnt need that. You will need to roll back your edge version.

Type edge://version into Edge. The current version is on the first line.

Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download?form=MA13FJ and scroll to the bottom of the page. In "select-channel-version," choose a build version prior to the one shown in step 1. Download it.

Open the command prompt (Run as administrator). Assuming you downloaded it to the Downloads folder, type: cd C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\Downloads

Now type in the command prompt (cmd): msiexec /i "NAME OF THE FILE YOU DOWNLOADED.msi" ALLOWDOWNGRADE=1

On this episode of today's rant. Microsoft breaking Microsoft products. Since January OneDrive has been super aggressive. It has been taking over machines and because it doesn't have enough space in the cloud it quits working and leaves people with a broken mess. As a nice follow-up anybody with Outlook and PST files it breaks those also. And since it Scoops your files up and delete some off your computer so they're in the cloud only by default that's even another big mess. So if you happen to have one drive running you need to make sure that you set it to download all files so they stay on your computer.
