We have now been in St Lucia for the last four days. Meeting lots of businesses and ARC particpants. Thanks to the Satly Dawg Rally, we were invited to introduce CruisersLINK at their BBQ on the lawn event at the Antigua Yacht Club this week.

Update on the Launch of CruisersLINK

The app is complete and pending publishing with both the App Store and Google Play. We anticipate this to be complete approximately the 7th of November.

The website has now gone live, with some tweaks to be completed.

The double sided hand out business cards and T Shirts are being picked up tomorrow. (See images)

We leave St Martin in two weeks bound for Antigua for a Month, where we will meet up with the Salty Dawg and ARC participants and promote the launch of the app. After Antigua we move onto St Lucia where the bulk of the ARC rally participants will arrive from Europe.

The CruiserLINK Vision

To be the app that best understands and satisfies the destination based information, product and service requirements of the cruising community.

The Beginning

CruisersLINK came from the firsthand experience of a new full-time cruiser arriving in new destinations, unable to easily access the basic information such as where to clear in, where the dinghy dock is, to where to dispose of rubbish.
From this humble beginning, the idea of an app for cruisers began.

After developing the first basic iteration it was soon obvious that this was bigger than just myself and a partnership was formed with another full-time cruiser with over 20 years experience and knowledge.

The two of us joined forces with the same vision and intent and continued to develop CruisersLINK into what is today.

CruisersLINK is founded on the principle that it must remain user-generated content, for cruisers by cruisers and be flexible enough to incorporate firsthand knowledge and input of services etc. from cruisers the world over, whilst remaining a free community service.
