ApeCoin has now overtaken Decentralandโ€™s MANA token, to become the largest metaverse token with a market value of $5.07 billion.

Just a little over a month after its launch, the ApeCoin, the native token of one of the worldโ€™s most prestigious NFT collections, the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), has made its way into the top 30 by market capitalization, ranking #29 as of the time of this writing.

Bandai Namco โ€“ the famous games developer โ€“ announces that it will be pouring $130 million into the creation of its own unique world within the metaverse.

For the moment, the world is dubbed โ€˜Mobile Suit Gundam Metaverseโ€™ โ€“ named after the world-renowned manga/anime series, the world is set to include games, videos, live music among other kinds of content.

๐Ÿ”ฐAmazon launched a 3D online role-paying game today where players move through a virtual city helping people solve real-world technology issues and cloud use cases, with goal of building Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud skills and preparation for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam.

๐Ÿ”ฐAWS says the game is ideal for early career or new-to-cloud learners. AWS Cloud Quest is now available globally for PCs through AWS Skill Builder.

Bored Ape Yacht Club Parent Company Valued at $5 Billion

Bored Ape Yacht Clubโ€™s parent company, Yuga Labs, is reportedly attempting to raise funds at a $5 billion valuation.

Yuga Labs is reportedly in contact with world renowned venture capital fund Andreessen Horowitz over a multi-million dollar equity deal.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection includes 10,000 digital ape ethereum NFTs, and has become wildly popular since the collection launched last April.

Bored Apeโ€™s have been purchased by A-list celebrities such as Justin Beiber and Snoop Dogg, and they have sold for as high as $2.9 million.
