Elaine Paules Steps Up To Project Manager

We are thrilled to announce Elaine Paules's promotion to Project Manager at Angelsmith! Elaine swiftly climbed the ranks, joining us less than six months ago as a Project Coordinator. Her exceptional performance and dedication have earned her rave reviews from our internal teams and clients.

She recently coordinated the new website for Peju Winery, the Amazon personalization integration for franchisor The NOW Massage, and ongoing optimizations for the newly franchised Upgrade Labs.

Angelsmith is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of website development, optimization and maintenance programs. It also coordinates with the other practice-area team members.

This position is the central hub for all of our projects and reports to the co-founders, coordinates 3-4 vendors and is in a prominent position between the client and the agency. It is heavy on details.

For this position, we expect a knowledge of WordPress, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and be an exceptional problem solver.

Confidence, communication, personable, hospitality-minded are critically important to being successful in this job.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Meeting with clients to review progress, discuss ideas, and keep projects moving smoothly
Understanding client/project needs and communicating them to the internal team
Working with the internal team to understand any needs or roadblocks and communicating those to the client
Both managing up and across to get the whole team to meet deadlines
Providing quality assurance on completed work by reviewing and testing items delivered by the internal team
Helping identify and define problems, and working with the team to find solutions
Tracking and managing hours spent on projects, timelines, and project deliverables
Providing creative input, including reviewing written copy, designs, emails, and ads.
Light copywriting and copyediting, including for emails, headlines, ads, and calls-to-action

WHAT YOU NEED:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in working in a web or project management environment.

Broad knowledge and experience with Wordpress, GTM, Data Studio and GA a huge plus! Experience with analytics and reporting / dashboard tools and ability to dive deep / review / analyze / pull actionable insights with the help of the team. Any hospitality experience would be lovely!

Ability to effectively coordinate, prioritize and report on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing, listening and comprehension skills, including ability to clearly and concisely communicate to client and team members

I wanted to share some thoughts and research on how to prepare for Black Friday Cyber Monday(BFCM).

In 2022, over the Black Friday Cyber Monday, e-commerce sales topped $20 Billion, with Cyber Monday leading with $11 billion. But interestingly, Thanksgiving Day sales are rising, hitting $5.3 billion, up 3 percent over the previous year.

How We Are Planning For Black Friday, Cyber Monday eCommerce sales:
Advertising Spend - due to increased competition, BFCM is more expensive than during the rest of the year. Expect to pay up to 100% more on Facebook & Google this holiday season.

Discounts - Consumer expectations are high for discounts during BFCM. In 2022, that average discount was 27%. We anticipate there will be heavy discounting to move inventory this year.

Reduced Consumer Spending - Many retailers are planning for inflation-driven reduced holiday spending.

Open Early, Stay Late - Retailers are opening sales up earlier than ever and maintaining deep discounts well past Cyber Monday. Last year, most of our clients sold through Wednesday.

Acquisition Campaigns - Most retailers will run acquisition campaigns before opening their sales this year. This is an excellent strategy to build your retargeting pool. This is especially effective for categories where you need to really shake the trees to find your ideal audience. This works exceptionally well for wineries that must reach beyond their email list.

Planning - Consumers begin planning their spending well before sales open up. 49% of Cyber Monday 2020 shoppers wanted better deals and more ads from stores leading up to the sales. (Deloitte, 2020). We anticipate this will continue in 2023.

2023 eCommerce revenue during Q4 is expected to climb about 10%, according to an article in Forbes. But it’s going to be an extremely competitive season. It will require aggressive advertising strategies and packaging to succeed this year.
