Storied Container -
A logo composition that was developed for a design contest I entered on DesignHill. The brief was vague but overall they needed a design that reflected a sense of mobility and youthfulness that could also be associated with food packaging like tupaware Etc.

So I developed this logotype with this in mind. Ass you can see the “S” in this monogram has a textured surface that appears liquid, just as a drink in a cup would look after a couple of sips had been taken, not being completely full. Then the “C” takes on impressions from the recycle symbol to provide a sense of sustainability and eco conscious business practices, which is important to display for a company dealing with manufacturing and distribution.

This monogram is then accompanied by a balanced word mark that contains the name of the organization “Storied Container”. The voice of don’t want meant to emphasize their product, that being container. So that is why the hierarchy draws attention to that before anything else in the composition.

I went ahead a created the b&w concept to display the versatility of the design in terms of color associations. Overall this design execute in terms of what was expected. It’s circular edges present a softer and more youthful feel while also presenting the companies products and their mission statement as well.

Out of this world. Clothing start up in glendale. This logo features a space ship that has left earths atmospher, so by definition, it is out of this world. In order to appeal to the younger target demographic this icon makes a bold statement that displays a sense of excitement and mystery.

You’re left with several questions when you see this design like where are these travel bearing astronauts traveling to. Much like a start up, with consumers and investors creating an assessment based on the initial take off phase.

Not only is this design vibrant in symmetry with the evocation of unity and eternity, with the addition of the circular shapes in the design but it leaves room for the logo to grow with the organization, to move onto the next phase of their journey, which is priceless in terms of creating equitable designs.
