Who is the one person on your team who knows where every stroke measure number actually lives?

Every quality program has one.

The person who knows where every number lives — not where the data is supposed to live, but where it actually lives.

The coordinator who:
- Remembers which flowsheet holds the post-thrombolytic neuro checks
- Knows door-to-needle time may be documented in three different places
- Can recite the numerator definition from memory

That expertise is valuable.

Their knowledge and judgment are an asset. The manual data hunt is the bottleneck.

Abstraction fatigue is not a people problem. It is a process problem that eventually shows up as burnout.

And when that person leaves, the program loses more than coverage. It loses the knowledge that the process never captured.

Curious how other quality teams are reducing abstraction fatigue before it becomes coordinator burnout.

What parts of your process still depend on “the person who just knows”?
