Here's how to protect your phone privacy:
1. Make sure it's locked.
Sounds simple, but locking your phone is your first line of defense. The best way? Use your face, thumbprint, or a 6-digit PIN.
Patterns are easy to guess as they often leave an imprint on your screen.
2. Stick to known app stores
It's easy to simply press download on an app that promises great features. But it's important to stick to trusted sources,
otherwise, you run the risk of downloading malware directly to your phone. If in doubt, stick to the Google Play or App Store.
3. Get to know your app permissions
Sure, your map app probably does need to know your location. But does that new puzzle game really need access to your
photos? Think twice before always clicking yes and sharing too much of your personal data.
