The need an ATA upgrade. So this is a swap from from Nortel to Grandstream ATA. Unfortunately, the Grandstream hadn't been configured properly. There support is the only folks allowed to configure. They still don't have dialtone. Waiting for a properly configured ATA.

Renal Care Clinic. Swapping their phone system for a data-remote system. Unfortunately the data-remote hadn't been configured properly by the provider. This will be a revisit.
Mounted the remote and 66 block. Removed the alarm line from POTS. Extended the alarm line to port 3.

Do not try this unless you are a technician. It will cost you more in the long run.

You're right the switch needs power. The closest IDF has a faulty UPS. They're back up and running temporarily. I pushed the reset button.
