IDEA Hacks IDEA Hacks is the first, full hardware focused hackathon in the LA region. "Imagine. Develop. Execute. Achieve." This year, our event is on January 12-14, 2018.

IDEA Hacks is UCLA's first, 100% hardware oriented hackathon, brought to you by UCLA IEEE and UCLA Theta Tau. The event is open to any student, whether they are an artist, an entrepreneur, a scientist, or an engineer. We encourage these various bright minds to team up together in order to design and develop potential next-generation technology based on a given theme. The theme is Automation!
