CUSTOMER SERVICE /PRINT PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

The ideal candidate will greet walk-in clients, take orders, payments, answer phones, and run printing machines. This is PERFECT FOR someone that LOVES TALKING TO PEOPLE and can project manage.
Are you familiar with problem-solving?
If so, then this position is perfect for you. We are a print company looking for someone that knows how to fix jacked-up files. A person that has the confidence and mastery to prep files without asking for help. Most of the time the answers are on YouTube!!!! Problem-solving is the #1 skill we are looking for in a candidate. We are also looking for someone that loves to interact with customers. We have found that the best option is to call clients directly when a problem arises.
Shift:
M-F, Day 8 am to 5pm Shift, 40 hours per week. The candidate hired will be open to working any overtime or alternate shift as needed by customer deadlines.

We are in the process of rebuilding the team! Our star teammate is leaving after 6 years to pursue other interests. We are a positive thinking, ambitious, hard-working team that is looking to add an extra person to our workgroup. We have been in business for 12 YEARS!! There is no micro-managing at all. We want to hand somebody a project and just know that it gets done on time. We are a small company of three people and two VA's overseas. The ideal candidate is looking for long-term commitment and growth opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(This position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be required for this position). Answer incoming phone calls, Take orders from walk-n customers, load paper, print T-Shirts, Creative file prep using customer-supplied logos, ideas, concepts and digital art utilizing Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
Facilitates and monitors printing and production services from start to completion
Reviews print requests
Organizes and implements a production work schedule for processing requests
Implements and manages company accountability system for each phase of the production schedule to insure the timely completion and availability of projects
Provides direction and support during schedule interruptions to accommodate emergency requests
Operates digital printers and finishing equipment
Inspects and verifies completed projects meet quality standards
Monitors all printing systems to ensure appropriate and safe procedures are followed as required by operation manuals
Maintains the inventory of paper, bindery supplies, toner, and other consumables
Orders supplies and verifies the accuracy of billing
Preps final printed material for delivery to all client locations
Performs other related duties commensurate with the requirements of the printing and production department.
CONSULTATION
Provides consultation and assistance to customer experience team during project development regarding the printing production process, including:
How to coordinate and facilitate the project's requirements in a timely manner
formulating and preparing print requests
Suggesting appropriate paper and ink combinations, to make a positive and profitable impact for the finished print job
Recommend various printing systems
Conducts cost analysis and timeline impacts for specified projects
Acts as a resource to advise and educate, outside agencies and clients regarding appropriate printing and production methods to meet print needs within budgeted goals
Coordinates competitive quotes and prices, printing and production requirements with internal and outside vendors as necessary;
Implement daily workflow schedule to staff to assure quality, service and on time delivery
