Dennis, our new VP of Sales - West, is a native Californian who has lived in both northern and southern California. He has been directly supporting customers in a sales role since 1990, with his first retail sales position selling Apple computers. One of his most interesting roles was as a Special Effects systems reseller (selling the things “Jurassic Park” dinosaurs were made of). His favorite feature is . What Dennis most likes about working in sales is experiencing firsthand how our technology enables, contributes to, or plays a key role in “all this amazing creative work”. Likewise, he loves the joy of truly helping someone solve a problem. If he had a tagline, it would be “Let’s Rock!” Dennis is married with two children (15 and 12) and a dog named . Fun fact: Early in his sales career, Dennis personally delivered new computers to Steve Wozniak at his rock promotion company, Unuson (Unite Nations Using Singing Over Network… eventually shortened to Unite us in Song). Some of his hobbies include Wallyball (volleyball in a racquetball court), Snowboarding, new adventures with his River.

A 5th Kinder for all of three months, Nate, who heads Sales Engineering, thinks of Los Angeles as home. He spent the last eight years working across Sales, DevOps, and IT management refining his skills as a mad technical genius and an affable people person. Thus, his expertise is bridging the gap between the business, sales, and technical teams. Working with people is what Nate most enjoys about sales engineering, which underscores his would-be personal tagline--if he had one--“Work hard and have fun.” His goal for his first year at 5th Kind is to create a comprehensive sales engineering playbook. When it comes to CORE, Nate most digs the taxonomy customization. Outside of work, Nate rescues and fosters cats. He has a live trap that he uses to capture abandoned and feral cats which he then places into loving forever homes. Nate's two cats are Lola (left), a foster home dropout who bonded with his big tomcat, Pixel (right).

Meet Andy S., our new tech support manager! If he had a tagline, it would be, “Oh no, this guy again.” Andy calls Texas home and has worked in support for 25 years across several industries. As a newbie, Andy’s a big fan of CORE’s Sharing features because they’re extensive and flexible, which he thinks is where 5th Kind shines. On the side, he has fun running his own YouTube channel with his kids.
