Today, DHS announced $18.2 million of awards through the Tribal Cybersecurity Grant Program to 32 Tribal Nations. Jointly administered by CISA and FEMA, these grants will help address cybersecurity risks and threats to information systems owned or operated by tribal governments.

These are the first tribal cybersecurity grants to be awarded under this program, which was created by the bipartisan infrastructure law, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).

Millions more in tribal cybersecurity funding will be announced in 2025 when the next funding notice is released.
