Confidential AI: Let AI Work for You Without Handing Over Your Privacy
AI agents are evolving from simple Q&A tools into assistants that actually get things done for you: managing emails, analyzing contracts, writing code, calling APIs, even operating your apps and databases. The more useful an agent becomes, the more it needs to know about you.
That creates a real privacy paradox. Local AI keeps your data under your control but falls short on capability. Cloud AI is powerful, but it asks you to trust the provider and every node along the data path with unconditional access to your information.
PlugClaw offers a third option: Confidential AI.
Using hardware-based Trusted Ex*****on Environments (TEE), remote attestation, and memory encryption, PlugClaw built a three-layer confidential architecture spanning your device, the cloud, and the AI model itself:
●On-device: Your conversations, files, and agent data stay in encrypted storage on your own device.
●Confidential cloud: Even cloud administrators can't read your data in plaintext the way they could on a standard server.
●Model layer: When using confidential inference models, you get true end-to-end encryption. When using closed-source models like Claude or GPT, the confidential cloud strips your identity before forwarding only the necessary content, so the model sees what you're asking, not who's asking.
Security here isn’t built on trusting that someone won’t look. It’s built on cryptography and hardware verification that make it technically almost impossible to look.
