Verisys Corporation is the go-forward name for Aperture Health.

The Aperture brand will be retired. Verisys will also be headquartered in Aperture's former home office of Louisville, Ky.

For a limited time, state Medicaid agencies can take advantage of a major incentive from Aperture Health and our partner Carahsoft to create a FHIR-compliant and CMS-funded statewide provider directory and search. The next two agencies that act before the end of the year are eligible for a "first mover" special offer.

The benefits to upgrading your provider directory are clear: improving public access to provider data accuracy and addressing the interoperability compliance FHIR API enforcement date that passed on July 1, 2021. This initiative is also supported by CMS through the ability for government agencies to receive CMS 90/10 funding.

Today’s fact check: Contrary to a claim this week of the launch of the “first and only API for NCQA-certified credentialing,” Aperture Health launched our credentialing API for a specialty network at a major healthcare company back in October 2020.

We even aired a webinar called “What Can APIs Do for You? A Specialty Network Credentialing Case Study” back in March. Click on the link below to see how our client uses the API to speed up start times while improving quality and compliance.

We're in growth mode: Verisys Corporation/Aperture Health acquired the Credentials Verification Organization business Med Advantage from Advantum Health.

Users of Advantum’s Med Advantage services will migrate to Verisys’ CheckMedic platform. John Barrett, Advantum vice president of business development and former Med Advantage CEO/co-founder, will also join Verisys.

“Over the past two decades, we’ve verified nearly 800,000 board certifications, more than 950,000 Drug Enforcement Administration certifications, and more than 3.7 million medical licenses,” Barrett said. “We’ll augment Verisys’ data platforms supporting credentialing, risk, and compliance solutions, while Advantum continues to focus on its core business.”
