It is with a heavy heart and respect for the Code:You community that we are announcing the latest class that began in January will be our last. Code:You, which includes Code Louisville and Code Kentucky, is no longer accepting new applicants and will close later this year.

The technology sector has changed dramatically over recent years and the demand for a program like this simply isn’t what it once was.

Over the last twelve years, Code:You has helped more than 1,400 people find employment in technology. This program has changed so many lives for the better. It has also been a leader in Louisville’s technology sector, helping companies grow and compete by connecting them with skilled, local workers. Its positive impact will be felt long into the future.

Anyone involved with Code:You knows that it’s more than a training program, it’s a community. We are grateful to everyone who has made Code:You the outstanding program it is today, in particular our mentors, who collectively have volunteered more than 30,000 hours of their time and expertise to help aspiring tech workers achieve their dreams.

Code:You is not closing immediately. Our team is committed to serving the current class to the fullest extent possible. We will have more to share about plans to honor the program’s legacy and the people who made it possible in the coming weeks. Thank you.
