⚠️ Heads up: Scammers recently sent fraudulent emails impersonating our owner, Kenny Marcum. If you got one, please know it did NOT come from Kenny or anyone on our team.
Moments like this are a good reminder that phishing scams are getting harder to spot. Here are 6 quick tips to protect your business:
✅ Check the sender's full email address, not just the display name. Scammers love a sneaky letter swap.
✅ Hover before you click. If a link looks off or doesn't match the sender, don't click it.
✅ Never share passwords, banking details, or account numbers over email. Legit companies won't ask.
✅ Watch for urgency. Messages that pressure you to "act now" deserve a second look.
✅ Confirm requests another way. Got an odd ask from a colleague or vendor? Call or message them directly using contact info you already trust.
✅ Use security tools. Spam filters, antivirus, and multi-factor authentication add real layers of protection.
A little caution goes a long way. If you ever get a message that seems to come from us and something feels off, reach out and confirm before you act—we're always happy to help!
