Real talk… if your website isn’t converting, it’s not random.

There’s almost always a specific, fixable reason.

I’ve done enough website audits to know these four culprits show up on nearly every site that’s getting traffic but not inquiries.

The sneaky part? Most of these sites look fine. Good design. Nice photos. Clear branding.

But looking good and communicating clearly are two completely different things.

Your visitor isn’t asking “is this beautiful?”

They’re asking “can I trust her?” and “is this worth my time?” within the first few seconds of landing on your page.

If your site isn’t designed to answer those questions fast you’re losing people who were genuinely interested.

Not because your service isn’t good enough. Because your website didn’t do its job.

I help service providers fix exactly these four things through strategic audits and WordPress redesigns.

If you want me to diagnose which one (or ones) are hurting your site specifically
DM me “WEBSITE” and let’s look at it together.

You don’t have a traffic problem… you have a clarity problem.

I see this all the time with service-based business owners, especially women who have built their website themselves or used a template.

Your website looks good… but it’s not converting into leads or inquiries.

And the reason is simple:
Your messaging isn’t guiding people to act.

When someone lands on your homepage, they should instantly feel:
 ✔ This is for me
 ✔ She understands my problem
✔ I know exactly what to do next

If that’s missing, they leave.

Not because they don’t want your service—but because they’re unsure.
And unsure people don’t buy.

If you want help identifying what’s causing the drop-off on your site, I offer website audits where I walk you through exactly what to fix.

DM me “AUDIT” or save this to review your site later 🤍

I almost didn’t share this story.

Because it meant being honest about the fact that I had been misaligned. That I, someone who helps other people get clear, had been unclear about my own calling for longer than I want to admit.

But I kept feeling like that was exactly why I needed to share it.

Because the most powerful thing I can tell you isn’t “here’s how to build a great website.”

It’s: I walked through the dark part too. I felt what you’re feeling. And I came out the other side with more clarity, more purpose, and more peace about my work than I have ever had.

Not because I hustled harder. Because I surrendered first.

I surrendered the need to be for everyone. I surrendered the version of my brand built on comparison. I surrendered the fear of being too specific, too niche, too “faith-forward.”

And what God gave me back was a business that finally feels like mine.
That’s what I want for you.

Not a prettier website. Not a more polished brand.

A business built on truth. Built around your actual calling. Built to serve the specific woman you were put here to serve… in a way that only you can.
If you’re ready to do that work, I’m ready to walk through it with you.
DM me “ALIGNED.” Let’s start with your clarity. 🤍

And if this series meant something to you, share it with the woman in your life who needs to read it. She knows who she is.

I want to tell you what’s on the other side of surrender.

Because I spent a long time being afraid of it. Afraid that getting really honest about my business would mean tearing it down. Starting over. Losing what I’d already built.

That’s not what happened.

What happened was simpler and more profound than that:

I got specific.

Specific about who I serve. Specific about what I do. Specific about the kind of work I want to build my days around.

And in that specificity, something clicked that no amount of strategy had been able to create.

I felt aligned.

Not just organized. Not just clear. Aligned, like the thing I’m building matches the person I actually am and the calling I actually have.

What I’m building now: A brand strategy and website experience specifically for faith-driven women in service-based businesses who are ready to stop building for everyone and start building for the one person they’re truly called to serve.

That’s it. That’s who I’m for.

No qualifiers. No “and also for.” Just her.

And if you’ve been reading this series and thinking “that’s me”… you’re right. It is you.

And I built everything I’m offering next specifically with you in mind.

DM me “ALIGNED” if you want to talk about what that could look like for your business. 🤍

For a long time, my answer to “what do you do?” was: “I build WordPress websites.”

Clean. Simple. Easy to understand.

Also completely wrong.

Not factually, I do build websites. But leading with that was like a surgeon saying “I use scalpels.” Technically true. Entirely misses the point.

What I actually do is help faith-driven women get clear on their brand - who they are, who they serve, what makes them different and then build a website that reflects that clarity so powerfully that their ideal client feels immediately seen and understood.

The website is the final step. The clarity is the whole thing.

I had been minimizing the clarity work because it was harder to package.

Harder to explain in a bio. Harder to put a price on.

But going through my own framework showed me something I hadn’t been willing to see:

The clarity work is the most valuable thing I do. And the women who need it most are the ones I’m called to serve.

So I stopped shrinking it. I stopped leading with the deliverable and started leading with the transformation.

And the difference in how people respond, the DMs, the “this is exactly what I needed” comments, the inquiries from women who feel seen, has been like night and day.

You might be doing the same thing. Packaging yourself down to what’s easiest to explain instead of what’s truest to what you do.

Stop shrinking your calling to fit a caption.

I want to tell you about the moment everything shifted.

I was going through my own framework… the section where you build out your ideal client and I stopped trying to think strategically about it.
I prayed first. And then I just wrote.

And what came out wasn’t a demographic profile. It was a person.

A woman who is genuinely gifted. Who built something real. Who has faith at her core and uses it to drive everything she does.

But whose business feels like it belongs to someone else.

Whose website looks fine but doesn’t feel like her.

Whose content goes out consistently but doesn’t seem to connect the way she knows it should.

Who’s tired of tweaking and optimizing and trying new strategies because deep down, she knows that’s not the real problem.

The real problem is clarity. About who she is. Who she serves. What she’s actually here to build.

I wrote her out and then I sat back and thought: I know her. I’ve been her.

And I knew clearly, finally that she is who I’m here for.

Not every entrepreneur. Not every website owner.
Her.

That specificity didn’t shrink my calling. It crystallized it.

And if you’re reading this thinking “that’s me” I want you to know: I see you. And I built what I’m building next for you specifically.

Stay close. 🤍

I’ve taken clients through this process dozens of times.

I know what it looks like when someone hits the hard question. I can see it on the call… the pause, the slight reframe, the pivot to something safer.

Because the first instinct when you’re asked “why do you do what you do and who do you actually want to serve?” is to give the strategic answer. The one that sounds right. The one that’s broad enough to feel safe.

And I gently push back every time.

Because the strategic answer and the true answer are almost never the same.

Going through my own framework meant I had to face my own strategic answer and then go deeper…

Deeper into what I actually love doing. Deeper into who I actually light up for. Deeper into what kind of work makes me feel like I’m in exactly the right place.

It meant admitting that some of what I’d built was for optics. Some of it was comparison-based. Some of it was fear dressed up as strategy.

That’s not easy to see. Especially when you’re the one who helps other people see it.

But here’s what I know now that I didn’t before:

The framework works. Not just for clients. For me. For you.
And the willingness to be honest inside of it is the only thing that makes it powerful.

That’s the whole point.

Here’s what nobody tells you about niching down:

The strategy part is easy. The surrender part is hard.

Anyone can tell you to “get more specific.” To “speak to one person.” To “niche down to stand out.”

But what they don’t tell you is that niching down requires letting go.

Letting go of the fear that a smaller audience means less income. Letting go of trying to be for everyone so no one feels excluded. Letting go of the version of your brand you built to look impressive instead of to be useful.

When I brought God into my framework, genuinely, not just performatively, something shifted in how I saw everything.

I stopped auditing my business like a strategist. I started seeing it like someone who had been entrusted with something.

And that question -who has God specifically equipped me to serve? cracked everything open.

The answer wasn’t a demographic or an income bracket

It was a woman. One I recognized. One whose struggle I understood from the inside. One I could serve in a way that nobody else could, because of my specific combination of skills, faith, and experience.

When I saw her clearly, everything else fell into place.

Your niche isn’t a marketing decision. It’s a calling decision.
And it starts with getting quiet enough to hear who it is.

There’s a version of “working on your business” that’s really just avoiding the deeper questions.

I know because I was doing it.

Tweaking my offers. Redoing my content strategy. Redesigning things that didn’t need to be redesigned.

All productive-feeling things that kept me from sitting with the one question I was most afraid of:

Am I building what I’m actually called to build?

When I finally stopped — actually stopped — and got honest with God and myself, the process wasn’t dramatic. It was quiet. And slow. And a little uncomfortable.

Because clarity doesn’t usually arrive all at once. It arrives in layers, as you become willing to let go of the version of your business you built out of pressure, comparison, or fear.

What I found on the other side of that honesty surprised me.

Not a completely different business.

A much truer one.

One built around a specific woman I actually want to serve, doing work I actually love, in a way that feels like mine.

Surrender didn’t shrink my business. It focused it.
And focus, I’ve learned, is where everything good starts.
