Your password shouldn’t be the only thing protecting your account from a cybercriminal.

Passwords can be stolen through phishing, data breaches, or even reused credentials from another compromised account. That’s where Multi-Factor Authentication comes in.

MFA requires an additional form of verification before granting access. So even if someone has your password, they still face another barrier.

Yes, we know the extra login step can be annoying. But a few extra seconds to verify it’s really you is a lot less annoying than dealing with a compromised account.

One password shouldn’t be enough to get in.

When it comes to cybersecurity, communication is critical.

Clicked a suspicious link? Entered your password somewhere you shouldn’t have? Tell your IT team immediately. The sooner IT knows, the sooner they can secure affected accounts, investigate what happened, and limit the potential impact. Waiting only gives an attacker more time to act.

Even if you’re not sure anything happened, it’s always better to report it.

Phishing is evolving. Our habits have to evolve with it.

For years, spelling mistakes and awkward wording were easy signs of a phishing email. With AI, those clues aren't as reliable anymore.

Scammers can create polished, convincing messages that look legitimate while trying to steal credentials, sensitive information, or money.

Keep an eye out for unexpected requests, unusual links, urgency, or anything that feels outside the norm. When in doubt, verify the request through a trusted channel before you click or respond.
