DID YOU KNOW! 🗣️

When you replace your outside meter, your meter needs to be placed in an area that is at least 3ft away from any part of the gas meter. Your utility company may require further placement from the gas meter.

Here are 3 things you can do to insure your meter is placed in the proper place:
1️⃣Call your utility company and obtain measurements of the placement that they require.
2️⃣Hire a licensed and insured electrician who knows your local code.
3️⃣Have the job inspected by a 3rd party inspector!

DID YOU KNOW! 🗣️

Generac and more specifically our local code requires you have your Home Standby generator placed in specific places for you and your families safety!

These units must be placed:
At least 3ft from air conditioning units.
60 inches from doors, windows and any other opening.
5ft from combustible materials.
3ft away from non-combustible materials.
3ft from trees and shrubs.
3ft from utility meters.
10ft from any propane tanks.

If these guidelines are not met, it cause a danger to your family and Generac can void your warranty.

With the potential Nor'Easter that could hit our area again early next week, please give us a call ASAP if your generator hasn't been serviced in a few years or if its not running!

We were only able to service or repair 4 out of the 12 calls we got Friday and Saturday for units that were not ready for when you need it the most!

If the upcomin snowstorm 🌨️ drops a considerable amount of snow ❄️ this weekend, please remember to remove the snow at least 3 ft around the entire unit. Without proper airflow, your Generator will not work properly or at all when you need it the most! ⚡️
