Team –
It is with heavy hearts that we pass along that Micki “Agailia” Justensen passed away last night after a long, brave battle with cancer.
Agailia and her beloved husband Mike “Moyo” Justensen had shared 36 years together and 35 years as a married couple. As Mike puts it ,” I could not imagine a better partner for me. I have a lifetime of memories of good times.”
Mike and Micki joined the hawks in Everquest 2 way back in 2010 and almost immediately they had a positive impact on the team.
Agailia relished her roles both as healer/support as well as crafting. Within a short period she was regularly assisting well, anyone and everyone that she possibly could. Didn’t matter whether or not they were way above her, or way below her in level, she always helped anyone she could.
She was sassy and fiercely opinionated. If she believed she was in the right (and in all honesty she usually was) she would fight for her opinion passionately. I came first to respect her, and more importantly value her insight and her contributions to the team
We were a better team because of her ferocity and tenacious beliefs of how we could be better.
She, and Mike, rose to the position of Council Members – the most trusted leaders on the team. And for many years they helped guide, shape and mentor players throughout our ranks.
Im sure now, she is looking down on Mike , her beloved “sir” and the rest of us. And knowing her, she will find a way to set us on the right path if we go astray.
Micki was just 62, taken from us far far too soon.
Godspeed , Agailia. We love you. Gone, but never ever to be forgotten
