What We Do
BEM is a nationwide full-service environmental reme
diation and restoration firm. We are committed to the diligent conservation of the natural and water resources, while simultaneously providing for responsible construction and expansion to meet ever-growing infrastructure needs. Through the use of pioneering technology, BEM provides planning and compliance services to government agencies in 14 states across the nation. Our first corporate project was the planning and property acquisition for the construction of NJ Transit’s 20-mile Hudson-Bergen Light Rail transit line, which included the development of our groundbreaking right-of-way acquisition software, PAECETrakTM. Since then, we have provided support to a variety of organizations, including all branches of the Department of Defense and U.S. military, the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA), and several state-level Departments of Environmental Protection. BEM has also made significant contributions to large-scale restoration efforts in the Florida Everglades, coastal Louisiana, and the Alaskan wilderness.
