As our neighborhood mourns the horrific murder of Corey Ruiz at the hands of a Madison Police officer, we are shifting the focus of tomorrow’s open house. Our studio doors will be open on Sunday, 3-5pm and we will be raising funds for local mutual aid organization, Feeding the Youth and Freedom Inc.
We will still have Francesca Hong bandana stencils available to print and we will have other printmaking and art supplies on hand if you want to create art in community. **If any local organizers have a request for a screenprint design, please reach out and we’ll try to get it made for you!**
Please attend a protest and get out to Corey’s memorial at W***y and Baldwin if you are able. And if you can’t show up in person, we’ve included some urgent action items and questions to be raising with your community in the slides.
