Jerry has a management background, spending 17 years as a retail manager (Wal-Mart). As a person that can strike up a conversation with anyone, its not surprising that he loves connecting with people and building new relationships. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he recently moved back to the area after spending 7 years in Iowa. Outside of work, Jerry loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoy being outside, on the water, or on the golf course. Jerry really likes to grill and has recently started learning how to smoke meat.

Holding over 25 years of experience in technology consulting, Alex has worked with both small and large organizations across various sectors, providing tailored technology solutions to meet their specific needs. With an understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on business operations, Alex has helped clients optimize their IT systems to enhance efficiency and scalability. Alex is also a skilled communicator and collaborator, adept at building relationships with stakeholders and guiding them through complex technology initiatives.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and five daughters. He’s currently coaching Special Olympics Basketball and Track & Field and enjoys seeing the athletes reach new goals. Alex loves the outdoors, hiking with his dog Mackie, biking, boating and golf.

This February our leadership got together to discuss updates to our core values under guidance of a EOS Implementor. One of the suggestions we receive was to remove any cliché core values, like ones on integrity. Do the Right Thing was removed for only a few days before our President requested it be added back.

Cliché or not, Do the Right Thing is truly a value SMART is built upon. It's not just some feel-good value to us. We do the right thing even when it hurts, even if it's not the most profitable course of action. Because at the end of the day, being able to look other people in the eye and know we did what was right is most important.
