Founded in 1984 EWMedia has evolved into a company that provides consulting and support services for special events. When it started doing business, the company realized that many small events could not accept credit cards or do online ticketing or accept online applications. EWMedia communicates with its clients and vendors through a newsletter that goes out monthly to 2,
500 vendors on our list. The newsletter is also mailed out to several other databases and because it is on our web site, it is picked up by the search engines. Devoid of advertising, the newsletter lists festivals including their location, attendance and registration details. Most listings are festivals that EWMedia works with directly. In some cases, the newsletter lists other well run events as a service to the readers. The company feels its prime benefit to festivals is that its efforts create more profitable events. Any aspect of producing or managing an event including: project planning, sponsorship, PR, both traditional and social media, event management, subcontracting service vendors, booth vendor recruitment, staffing and managing event staff, recruiting and managing and training volunteers. How we work with Festivals & Vendors
EWMedia contracts with organizations to provide vendors to their festivals. We are paid by the festivals – not the vendors. We help festivals set their booth prices at competitive rates rather than the norm which usually seems to be a wild guess. We market the festival to vendors and manage the vendors at the festival. Because we represent both vendors and festivals, we are able to modify festival policies that may unfairly affect vendors while guaranteeing festivals quality vendor participation. Show Continuity
If you work one of our shows, we will give you first right of refusal for the next year’s show. This typically expires the day the late fee is initiated. We cannot guarantee this with every show due to the fact that we work with different promoters and they may want to restrict the show to certain types of vendors, etc. New Shows & Referrals
I am always looking for new or well-run shows to work with. I have been producing shows since the 1984 and can handle any aspect of producing a show. Many shows book EWMedia to handle the vendors, an area that has a steep learning curve. In some shows, EWMedia handles everything to do with vendors, in others; we just send out the information and list them on the internet. Some of our current shows booked us because of vendor referrals.
