Thinking about using Microsoft's Edge browser?
I found a good article that talks about how MS's Edge browser stands out. You can find it here. https://www.datadoctors.com/help/kenscolumns/22361-Is-Microsoft-Edge-Worth-Trying/
The immersive reader mode and vertical tabs are enticing. I also like how it puts tabs that you're not using to sleep instead of using memory.

If you receive an email about a transaction involving crypto-currency and PayPal or some other financial institution, it’s most likely a scam. They will thank you for the transaction. They will also provide you a link to reverse the transaction. You’re probably thinking that you didn’t make such a transaction and will click on the link to reverse it. That’s where they get you. The link will ask for your username and password. Wow, now they have the credentials to get into your bank account.
You should not click on the link. You should not respond to the email. You should delete the email. Then log into or call the financial institution referenced in the email and see what’s going on for yourself.
** Don’t trust links in emails. Go to your financial instruction directly.**
While we’re here, let me remind you that’s it’s a good practice to not reuse passwords. Have unique passwords for each site you visit. Why? Because if one site is compromised and bad actors get your password, they can’t use that password at other sites to gain access.
Be safe folks.

Be aware of gift card scams and don't fall prey.
Microsoft and other companies won't call you.
Your trusted friend won't ask you to get them a gift card via an email.
Gift cards can't be used to pay taxes, legal fees, bail, or utility bills.
DO NOT SHARE GIFT CARD NUMBERS WITH ANYONE VIA EMAIL.

Did someone ask you for money in the form of a Gift Card? It's a scam which is becoming more popular. You get an email from a trusted friend saying they're in trouble and need you to purchase a Gift Card. They ask that you send them the Gift Card number and the PIN number that you had to find by scratching off the back to uncover.
Don't reply, just delete it.

Please note: Microsoft, Apple and most, if not all, other computer companies will not call you. If you get a call from one of them, it's probably a scam. Best thing to do is to hang up.

Q) What version of Windows 10 is my computer running?
A) To find out, hold down the Windows key on your keyboard. The Windows key looks a bit like a waving flag. It's usually two keys to the left of the space bar. While holding the Windows Key, tap the R key. (R is for Run.)
In the dialog box that opens type 'winver' without the quotes and click OK.
So now you know.

After releasing Firefox 78 yesterday, Mozilla quickly halted its rollout via automatic updates due to problems discovered with the built-in search functionality. Today, Mozilla has released a new version 78.0.1 to fix these issues and has resumed auto-updates.

In a Mozilla bug report found by Techdows.com, it was reported that numerous search issues occurred after installing Firefox 78 as described below:

All search engines are gone, list of one-click search engines is empty now
Auto complete in the address bar doesn't work any longer
Search function on the start page doesn't start a search any longer
