Where will machine learning capabilities go in the future?

As machine intelligence evolves, it is becoming capable of asking questions that we were previously unaware we needed answers to.

The next phase of maturity will happen when the machine intelligence begins to develop answers and research questions that have yet to be asked by us. Essentially, once it can learn to ask questions.

In other words, they’ll go to the frontier of our human knowledge and step forward and uncharted territory to provide us with answers to questions we haven’t asked yet.

Not only will it do as it does today, that is provide answers, but it will use Next Best Offer and Next Best Action algorithms and point its power towards asking the most important questions. Questions that we may not have thought to ask or even ways of asking them.

How many inventions were discovered by just changing a part or a single word of the question, or even how many inventions were created because of an accident?

What other knowledge, ancient or new, can help us address questions where we’ve never made any connections before?

The future of all the new text and image GenAI tools isn't typing prompts all day.

These tools are excellent for accelerating marketing content. Your organization should be experimenting with them and even building them into workflows.

The future of GenAI: it will create directed only by enterprise data, generating hyper-personalized customer experiences and offers that will bring marketing back to its roots...acting as a relationship builder. The use case I describe in the clip seems futuristic, but all the tools necessary to make it happen are available today. It's getting the data wrangled that is giving most organizations trouble.

Here's how we know.The six or seven largest publicly traded oil & gas companies have their own name...

Big Oil. The fossil fuel lobby is a force that has always punched above its weight. These companies have jumped in and out of the top spots on the 'largest companies' list for the better part of the last century.

In 2016, Exxon was 5th on the list and had recently been overtaken by companies who were collecting and monotizing data. Data about their consumers and their users...data about us.

Fast forward 5 years to 2021. Exxon drops out of the top 20. However, a new entrant from the oil & gas industry emerges: newly formed Saudi Aramco, the privatization of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia's oil & gas reserves. Why would the royal family take the country's oil assets public? Well, they wanted to diversify out of oil...cash out, if you will...and invest their private fortune into tech.
