🖥️ Windows 10 Pro Extended Security Updates Available

As of October 14, 2025, Microsoft officially ended support and security updates for Windows 10 Pro. While many of our clients have already upgraded to Windows 11 Pro, some systems are still running Windows 10.

To help bridge the gap, Microsoft announced this past July a program where an additional year of Windows 10 Pro support can be purchased for $61 per system.

This ensures:
> Compliance with industry standards: Systems continue to receive Microsoft’s regular security updates.
> Cost savings: Clients can delay PC/laptop upgrades until 2026.
> Future planning: GSC IT will assist with upgrade projects in 2026, providing smooth transitions.

We’ve already tested the Extended Security Update (ESU) key on several in-house systems and for a few managed service clients.

The process is fast and simple:
> GSC IT purchases the ESU key directly from our distributor (TD Synnex).
> A short script is run on the licensed system to activate the key.
