This semester we launched Phly at UT Austin to help clubs and communities easily manage payments such as dues, donations, and more. We were excited to see Phly streamline donations and payments for organizations around UT during the end of the year events. However, our semester at UT was cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our organizations had to make a tough decision to cancel all formals, graduation celebrations, fundraising events, and service activities. We would like to thank the leadership boards of all these organizations and our University for making such heart-breaking decisions for the benefit of our community.

However, we challenge organizations at UT to do more. Let us use the money and time we would have put into the formals, celebrations, events, and fundraisers back into our community by donating to local nonprofits in Austin serving our city during this crisis.

We have set up our own campaign to benefit Stand With Austin -- assisting individuals and businesses affected by the cancellation of SXSW due to COVID-19. You can donate directly with Venmo, credit card or PayPal by clicking on this link,
