Job description:
We are seeking a Ruby On Rails Developer to join our early-stage CCaaS startup! You will develop and
implement unique web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms
Analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
Integrate web sites with other computer applications
Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends
Assist in developing new features and maintaining the company's cloud and mobile apps
Work with the team to prioritize platform
enhancements by making intelligent decisions using data-driven analysis and sound judgment
Brainstorms with Project Manager to build new and creative strategies for development velocity
Qualifications:
Experience with React Native and Flutter
Experience with GIT concepts
Experience with Cloud Applications and Hosts (i.e. AWS, Heroku)
Experience with A/B testing and multivariate
experiments
Experience upgrading Rails projects to latest Rails and Ruby versions.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgresSQL, MySQL, Redis
Previous experience in web development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Software Development
Demonstrate knowledge of agile development principles
Experienced Ruby on Rails Developer
Experience working in modern web languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Javascript, HTML 5, CSS
Demonstrated experience writing clean, readable, and maintainable code and tests using tools such as RSpec, Capybara, and Slim
Experience working with Backbone.js, and CoffeeScript
