We'd like to welcome back the Committee to Re-Elect Bruce Aukerman for Vermillion County Prosecutor for his order of additional signage and graphics for his campaign! Sometimes a sign says more than words ever could.

Seeing “Keep Vermillion County Safe” sitting in front of Deputy Joey Wilson’s home… that means something. Joey is the deputy who pursued a suspect for over 40 minutes at speeds reaching 135–140 mph—someone wanted for attempted murder out of Illinois.

When it turned into a shootout, Joey was shot in the leg… and stayed in the fight. 👊🏻

That’s what protecting this community looks like. And when it was time to do his part—Bruce Aukerman made sure that same individual was held accountable. 🛑 90 years in prison.

Because being tough on crime isn’t a slogan—it’s a responsibility. It’s backing the men and women who put their lives on the line. It’s standing up for victims. It’s making sure dangerous criminals don’t get another chance to hurt someone else.
