We are experiencing an outage in Neoga/Strasburg areas. A core router went down on our upstream path to the internet in Chicago. Unfortunately, they have not given us an ETA other than that it will be fixed as quickly as possible and multiple teams are working on it.

Update: 08/27/24- 5:15PM- The issue is resolved and Internet should be restored for the affected areas now.

We have some planned maintenance that might affect your service tonight between the hours of 12:00AM CST and 4:00AM CST. We don’t expect the disruption to be more than 30 minutes. Please be aware that you might need to reboot your modem and router if your service is not automatically restored. Thank you for your understanding as we upgrade our network to better serve you!

We are experiencing an outage in certain areas and are investigating the cause. We will update here when we have an update.

UPDATE:
A transformer blew up that feeds a substation on our upstream path. We were able to reroute traffic for Marshall and Martinsville customers (you may need to reboot your router and ONT). So, most Marshall/Martinsville customers should be back up and running. Neoga and Strasburg customers currently can't be rerouted because of the damage caused by the transformer exploding. We received a 2:00PM estimate of restoration of services from the substation affected by the blown transformer.

UPDATE: as of 11:00AM service should be restored in all areas. We will be switching the traffic back to the way it was for the clients who were rerouted now. The transformers has been replaced.
