True Story. The guys in the shop and I were discussing legacy network protocols and the moon launch, which we have on the monitor like proper science nerds. In walks the astronomy professor from one of the local colleges trying to get his laptop fixed.

If you experienced some brief disorientation about 4pm yesterday, that was because the level of geekery got so intense here we almost created our own singularity.

Today's success story. I helped out a family with a troublesome router and printer, and got a "five star" review from the youngest member of the household, who painted me a rock to thank me. It's going on the cash register in the shop.
