Leon spent the first part of his career as an executive in three Web-focused firms where he learned how to make customers successful through the strategic leverage of technology. The Fresh Step site uses a virtual currency that consumers earn by turning in codes printed on product packaging. They can spend their Paw Points on various items in a catalog, including more kitty litter. Many of the most active users of the program are animal shelters. They go through a lot of litter!

This week we rolled out a new program that allows shelters to register with the site and gather donations of points. We helped our clients design and implement this technically-complex new subsystem over several months.

We've been helping Legacy Games improve their game blogs. We started from a list of requirements and researched plugins and techniques to get WordPress to do what we needed. Then, we wrote up a guide for repeating the process for all their other game blogs.

Highlights include: Facebook comments, theme customization, and subscriptions via email using MailChimp.
