Fun repair. Loved this computer case.
System had bad reboots / freezing while gaming. Got it all running nice and smooth again and even fixed the display ports not working on the graphics card. :-)
I'll have to keep a case like this in mind for a future build.

Logo Redesign is going slow have 4 differet ideas going and can't decide on which design to move forward with.... :-)

New logo redesign changes going well but not ready to show progress yet. Still need to set up a good shot for my Cover Page... Sketching out ideas for that now. I will post pics in my next post on my page. :-)

little laptop rebuild - new larger 500 gb nvme hard drive, swapped out ram for upgraded ram and larger modules. Upgrade from 8 gb to 16 gb.
cleaned up unit on inside and out. replaced thermal pads and thermal paste. on to imaging the laptop now that it is ready.

Worked on a full rebuild for a client yesterday. XPS laptop - full replacement of the keyboard and touchpad - includes the full top plate for which all parts of the motherboard are attached to. Lot of work to fully disassemble and reassemble. All went well and the system is now up and running smooth. Really wish I would have taken pictures. I have a second one to do so I will get pics of the second one, for a different post. :-)

Replaced NVME drive and added back the copper heat dissipating plate. Cleaned up the heatsink and fan...put on new thermal paste. Pulled the 4 gigs of RAM in the system and put in 16 gb of RAM. Replaced 6 missing screws. Cleaned it up all around and installed windows 10 pro. And bam runs great again.

Now that power is back...I am back to work. Here is the work for now to catch up on.

Working on a few things. And need to reset up my desk to work on. Laptop on the right is getting upgrades...for ram and hard drive. And on the left a ram upgrade and just finished installing a new screen. Plus a fresh install of Windows. So far so good.

Center screen is the work computer and is just running off of a small TV. Think it is time to order some proper screens. We shall see.

Upgrade for a dell sff desktop.
New ram and also double it to 16gb.
New hard drive. Upgrade to an NVME from an hd 2.5" spinning drive. Dust out. New thermal paste for the CPU and a fresh install of Windows:-). Have it all buzzing along like new. :-)

Been busy. Working on a few things. I'm happy to provide computer services to all I can. :-)
Little upgrade and clean windows install. New SSD drive. Added ram. Dusted out and repasted the CPU. All running smoothly again.
